3 Lord Krishna Paintings you need to check out

Lord Krishna is one of the most widely respected and revered Hindu Gods. He is worshipped as the eighth incarnation (avatar) of the Hindu God Vishnu. Known for his mischievous and jovial nature, Lord Krishna is a joy to paint. Here are 3 of my best Lord Krishna paintings that you should check out.

Lord Krishna was called Gopala when he was a baby. Gopala literally means “protector of cows”. He has a special relationship with cows and my attempt was to showcase the same in this painting. The dark skin of Lord Krishna perfectly complements the snow-white calves. The devotion and love that the cows have is depicted in their eyes and smiles. The painting is made on a 24 x 24 canvas, in the oil medium.

Here is another painting that depicts the unwavering devotion that cows show towards Lord Krishna. Unlike the last one, this one has a bright orange background which gives a different feel to the painting. (in my opinion). This is a more traditional Krishna art style, as compared to the previous work. This Lord Krishna painting is made on a 24 x 24 canvas, in the oil medium.

Lord Krishna is known to play a beautiful melody on his flute. This painting depicts the serenity and peaceful facet of Lord Krishna. This artwork is done with textures and a limited color scheme. This Lord Krishna painting is made on a 24 x 24 canvas, in the acrylic medium.
